1. Overview

This website is operated by Northsilkstudio. Throughout the site the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Northsilkstudio. By visiting our site or buying something from us you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Transaction Policy.

3. Using the store

You must be at least the age of majority in the place where you live to buy from us. You agree not to use our products or this site for any unlawful purpose, and not to break any law that applies to you, including copyright law.

4. Your account

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.

5. Our products

We do our best to show every product accurately, but colours and finishes can look different on different screens, and measurements can vary slightly between items. Products are offered while stocks last and we may change or discontinue an item at any time.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we send you a confirmation that your order has been accepted. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when an item is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, or a payment cannot be verified. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund.

7. Prices, payment and currency

Prices are shown in United States Dollars unless your checkout says otherwise, and can change without notice. Payment is taken when you place your order, using one of the methods shown at checkout. Further detail is in our Transaction Policy.

8. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times shown on the site are estimates and are not guaranteed. Our Shipping Policy explains processing times, delivery windows, import charges and what happens with a delayed parcel.

9. Returns

Our Refund Policy explains your return options, including the statutory right of withdrawal for customers in the European Union. It forms part of these terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, logos and page design, belongs to Northsilk or is used with permission. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written consent.

11. Your content

If you send us ideas, reviews, photos or other material, you give us permission to use, publish and adapt it in connection with our business, without payment. You are responsible for anything you send us being lawful and your own.

12. Third party links and tools

Our site may link to sites or tools run by other companies. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or their terms, and following such a link is at your own risk.

13. Errors and inaccuracies

Occasionally information on the site may contain an error or be out of date, for example a price, a description or availability. We may correct it and update or cancel affected orders at any time, including after you have placed the order.

14. Prohibited uses

You may not use the site to send malicious code, to scrape or copy the site, to interfere with its security, to impersonate someone else, or for any unlawful, harassing or fraudulent purpose.

15. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We provide the site and our products with reasonable care, but except where the law says otherwise we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for death, personal injury, fraud or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a third party makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law.

17. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes may be brought before the competent Dutch courts. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.

20. Severability and entire agreement

If part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest stays in force. These terms, with the policies they refer to, form the whole agreement between you and Northsilk about your use of this site.
