The Apex Waterproof Winter Jacket is made for the cold end of the season, tested in Canadian conditions and built to keep going in moderate to harsh weather. An 8,000mm waterproof rating pairs with waterproof zippers and fully taped seams to hold out snow and driving rain, and the windproof construction adds an interior powder skirt so nothing gets in at the waist when you are on the slopes or out in a storm.
Inside, a fleece interior gives immediate warmth without a clammy feel, and zippered vents let you dump heat when you are working hard. Storage is generous: two hand pockets, a chest pocket, an internal pocket and a ski pass pocket on the arm, all zippered. The hood removes entirely with a zip, which turns the jacket from a technical winter shell into an everyday coat in a few seconds.
Adjustable cuffs seal warmth in at the wrist, and reflective stripes keep you visible on early starts and dark evenings. The shell is 100% polyester with a TPU backing, filled and lined in polyester, and sizes run S through 3XL. It handles daily wear, winter sports, hiking and camping equally well. Wash cold, tumble dry low, and avoid fabric softener to protect the waterproof membrane.
