The Cropped Denim Jacket is the layer that carries a wardrobe from March to May. Cut short at roughly 20 to 21 inches, it ends at the natural waist, which is what makes it work over high-waisted jeans, a midi dress or a slip skirt without cutting the outfit in an awkward place. The shape is classic denim jacket, just shortened and cleaned up.
Decorative buttons run up the front and give the jacket its character, catching light against the denim rather than disappearing into it. The fabric is a 50% cotton, 50% polyester blend with slight stretch, which is the practical compromise: you get the structure and look of denim with enough give to move through the shoulders and elbows, and it softens with wear instead of staying stiff.
Sizes run S through XL, with bust from 39.4 to 45.7 inches and sleeve lengths from 22.8 to 24 inches. Because it is a cropped cut, sizing up mostly adds width rather than length, so consider that if you want a looser fit over a knit.
